The name of the exhibition, consonant with the theme of the entire Inversia Festival, refers to the phenomenon of the Northeast Passage – the transport artery connecting and enveloping the Arctic Region. This global industrial infrastructure turns out to be the starting point for study of social, cultural and economic relations in the northern region and rethinking it as an intellectual and creative hub. Connecting artists from the north-western regions with the idea of a new digital path, the project space becomes a place of coexistence, in which new semantic interlacements are revealed. The exhibition Digital Northeast Passage does not consider the northern territories as static and empty spaces, but illustrates the complexity and diversity of the processes taking place here – from microbiological to technological. The exhibition builds a constantly disintegrating and reassembling landscape, forming a new cartography of the North.Curators: Olga Zubova, Oleg Khadartsev, Zhanna GuzenkoArtists: Samuel Brzeski, Philipp Guzeev, Olga Danilova, Mariia Ermolenko, Olga Zubova / Ekaterina Volkova / Hooligan Electronics / Natasha Romanenko, Andrey Isaev, Panu Johansson, Yulia Levin, Elena Popova, Anna Prilutckaia, Aleksandr Timofeev, Sergey Surmenko, Maria Timofeeva, Yury Shachnev, Shoplift
